U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) and N.C. Rep. David Rogers (R-Rutherford) were on campus Monday to present two new flags.

McHenry presented Pres. Walter Dalton with a large U.S. flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Rogers presented Dalton with a North Carolina flag.

Those two flags will be joined with a newly created Isothermal flag and will be dedicated in a ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 10. That ceremony will be part of the Veterans' Celebration at The Foundation Performing Arts and Conference Center, which will feature a show by The Highwaymen Live and post-show fireworks.

Veterans will have free admission for the evening but should contact the Foundation box office at 828-286-9990 to reserve tickets.
