Patricia "Pat" Phillips, age 81, of Forest City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, June 30, 2023.

Pat was born May 22, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late James S. Phillips and Irene Harrill Phillips. She was a member of the first graduating class of Chase High School and also a graduate of Cecil's Business College. Pat worked for First Union Bank & Loan for 25 years and later for Joe Waters Honda for ten years. She was a lifetime member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother, James E. Phillips (Betty) of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Rita Buckner (Glenn) and Sandra Carver (Hubert) all of Forest City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm Thursday, July 6th at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Carnell officiating. Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. At other times they will be gathered at 117 Trojan Lane, Forest City.
