On October 14, 2025; Patsy Owens Jones entered into the arms of our Lord.

Mrs. Jones was born July 29, 1934 and was a native of Rutherford County.

She was married to the late Bob Jones of Rutherfordton and they were blessed with two wonderful children, Alana and Alan, who surely met their mother at heaven's gate when the family was reunited in the presence of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, Garland Jones of Forest City and his wife Creola, and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones worked with the Rutherford County Schools.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton.

A graveside service for Mrs. Jones is scheduled for Thursday, October 16 at 11am at Brittain Presbyterian Church of Rutherfordton with Rev. Aimee Hobbs, Rev. Lisa Courtney, and Rev. Scott Courtney officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Carolina Foothills or First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton.
