Paul Vickers, 83, of Spindale, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Nora Rumfelt Vickers and Crawford Vickers.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Smith; daughters, Rita Bratton of Rutherfordton and Anita Vickers of Forest City; son, Gary Vickers of Rutherfordton; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Bumgarner of Rutherfordton and Rosa Adair of Forest City.

In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his first wife Lois Lynch Vickers.

Funeral services were held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery fund, 2625 Rock Rd, Union Mills, NC 28167.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
