Pauline Greene Lowery, age 85, of Caroleen, passed away February 10, 2022.

Pauline was born September 9, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Earl Benjamin Greene and Edith Ruleen Duncan Greene. She was the owner and operator of Pauline's Beauty Shop for 37 years and a member of Caroleen United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James C. Lowery; son, James Clifton Lowery, Jr., and a sister, Martha Haynes.

Left to cherish fond memories are her son, Jeffery Eugene Lowery of Rutherfordton; daughters, Karen Lowery Bailey of Rutherfordton and Ann Lowery Morgan (David) of Caroleen, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was conducted February 16, 2022 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Ruppe officiating.

Memorial donations requested to Long Branch Road Baptist Church, 621 Long Branch Rd, Forest City, NC 28043.
