Peggy Ann Green Ballard, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020.

Peggy was born May 24, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Albert Green and Gracie Inez Smith Green.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years and two brothers, Ernest "Ernie" Green and Jerry Green.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephany Alexander of Forest City; two sisters, Joan Bennett of Caroleen and Patricia "Trish" Davis of Stanley, NC; brother, Leon Green of Spindale; a grandson, a granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters.

The funeral service was conducted at Fellowship Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
