Pheriba Porter Queen, age 60, of Forest City, NC, died Saturday, February 12, 2011. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Caroleen-Avondale-Henrietta Cemetery.
Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Porter and Betty Nix Porter; her son Lloyd LaDon “Donnie” Queen; one brother, Don Porter and grandson, Jacob Tipton.
She is survived by daughter, Shelina Queen Humphries and fiancé, Gary Lee Carson, of Caroleen; one son, Gary Dale Queen of Sandy Mush; one brother, Marty Ray Porter also of Sandy Mush; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
