Frantz Photography captured these photos of brave souls who took an icy dip in the pool at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa during the 2015 Polar Plunge. Plungers were freezing for a reason to help raise money for Lake Lure Fire & Rescue and other first responders. Winning the most unique costume during this year’s event was a couple who dressed as peas and a carrot.
