Polly Greene Keyes, age 89 of Forest City passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020.

Polly was born November 3, 1930 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Hamrick Greene.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Greene, James Greene, Fred Greene, Jr, and Billy Greene, and her sisters, Janelle Greene and Mary DiGiorgio.

Survivors include a grandson of Rutherfordton, sister, Peggy Toney of Forest City, brother, Jerry Greene of Forest City. There are also a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment was private at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellenboro.

The Padgett & King Mortuary is serving the family.
