The Rutherford Quilt Guild held a workshop recently with Deb Heatherly, a nationally known designer and teacher for Creative Grids. Quilters learned how to use the Kitty Cornered Tool and made a large block and small block. Members used her quilt pattern Propensity. Heatherly is a former freelance writer and designer for Quilt Magazine and lives in North Carolina. This was her first teaching outing since Covid hit in 2019.
