Rachel Jones Crawley, 80

Rachel Jones Crawley, 80, of Mooresboro, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was born on August 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Theron and Viola Harris Jones. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving, caring person who always put others first.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shuford Crawley and one brother, Dan Jones. She is survived by her sons, Randy Crawley and wife Betty of Ellenboro and Myron Crawley of Mooresboro; one daughter, Angela Head and husband Doug of Rutherfordton; one sister, Daphine Greene of Mooresboro; two grandchildren, Matthew and Maria Head.

Funeral services were held at Holly Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Wade Huntley officiating. Burial followed at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
