Ray "R.C." Williams, age 86, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Luther Grayson Williams and the late Nancy Ann Conner Williams. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from Broyhill Furniture. R.C. was a loving father, grandfather and brother and loved NASCAR. He loved to visit Hardees with his friends but above of all He loved his Lord and Savior. He

was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

He is survived by three sons: Eddie Williams and wife Stephanie, Roger Williams, Randy Williams and wife Andrea. One brother: Carroll Williams, six grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Terry White and Reverend Leon Brown officiating. Interment held at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills at P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
