Barbara Jo Brown, age 73, of Bostic, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

Lynda Faye Huskey, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Lynda was born September 7, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Howard William Hawkins and Lolamae Pitchford Hawkins. She worked as a waitress for various local restaurants and was a manager at Pizza Hut for several years. Lynda had a wonderful personality and loved her pet dog "Baby". She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Howard Ray Frawley.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Robert Scott (Paula) of Ellenboro; two sisters, Brenda Davis (Ray) of Bostic and Wanda Jane Rector of Ellenboro. She is also survived by one granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren.

No formal services will be conducted.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.

Tragic death breaks hearts. Loving kindness puts hearts back together.

When Shelby's Ed Cushman died in a fire on the way to this year's Super Bowl, his family lost a beloved son and brother, but came to a deep understanding of how loving kindness works.

It was not exactly the night most would have projected. Sure, R-S Central's Men's and Ladies hoops teams were capable of beating East Rutherford, but in the first meeting, they both fell short in the county rivalry.
