From 12 cars to now more than 400 vehicles of all ages, makes and styles - Hot Nights, Cool Rides turns 25 this year.

The annual car, truck and motorcycle show will be held Aug. 20 in downtown Forest City, again hosted by the Forest City Merchants Association. The show began in 1991 as a way to create a new event to bring people into town, said Ray Pittman, one of the original merchants who created the event.

Finally, Football Friday night is back! Three Rutherford County teams are in action with Chesnee playing south of the border (8-19-16).
