One High School Team Stays Alive This Postseason
   It’s no surprise! East Rutherford’s baseball team is making another run at a state 2A title. Following an easy 13-3 win over Draughn, East Rutherford (25-3) outlasted Pisgah on the road 6-5, moving themselves into the Elite Eight.

   They remain the only Rutherford County team alive now after taking down Starmount 10-1, on Tuesday night. The Cavs go for the western regional championship starting today at home against East Lincoln (23-6). East Lincoln would host on Friday and the Cavs would go back home for Saturday’s contest, if game three in the series was necessary.
