Revonda Crowe Carswell, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Revonda was born Monday, October 9, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late William Grady Crowe and Annie May Murray Crowe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Searcy and a brother, Buford Crowe.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-six years, Harold Carswell; daughters, Donna Michelle Lavender (Dale) of Shelby and Teresa Annette Blackwell (Marion Fred) of Boiling Springs, SC; stepson, Michael Dean Carswell (Julie Collins) of Forest City and stepdaughter, Michelle Carswell Bolding of Athens, Alabama; four sisters, Nina Gettys (Maynard) of Ellenboro, Mary Ann Blackwell of Mooresboro, Irene Black (Larry) of Denver, NC, Rosa Simmons of Mt. Holly; two brothers, Bobby Crowe (Dianne) of Bostic and Rev. Bill Crowe (Dolly) of Indian Trail, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
