Rhonda Denise Broome Hames, age 62, widow of Jerry Ervin Hames, passed away April 7, 2022.

Rhonda was a native of Rutherford County, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Sue Frady Broome, a graduate of Isothermal Community College, a member of Restoration Church of Forest City and worked for ManSerMar.

Those left to cherish her memory include children Keisha Gibson (Marcus), Kami Hall (Josh) both of Bostic; brother, Ronald Broome of Rutherfordton; sisters, Beverly Stafford of Rutherfordton, Marcia King of Rutherfordton and Myra Cermac of Columbia, SC; seven grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services were held April 10 at Restoration Church in Forest City with Pastor Paul Lane officiating.
