Robert (Bob) Harold Boyd, age 78 passed away on May 3, 2021.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, father-in-law, brother-in-law and child of God. He served his country in the US Army with most of his time stationed in Germany.

He has his wife of 54 years, Sandra Smith Boyd, his daughter Jennifer Gosey, his son Jason and daughter-in-law Joannie Boyd, his five grandchildren. He has three sisters, Ruth Ditty of Colfax, CA, Doris (Bill) Phillips of Marion, NC, Ann (Gene) Harrell of Marion, NC and one brother Ralph (Joy) Boyd of Marion, NC. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ella Hollifield Boyd of Marion, brother Glen Boyd, sister Helen McKinney, four infant siblings, a niece, a great niece and brothers-in-law Jim Ditty and Ray McKinney.

A private family service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Forest City,

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
