Robert Dwayne Martin, age 63 of the Harris Community, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021.

Robert was born September 18, 1957 in Rutherford County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Worth Martin. Survivors include his mother, Billie Morgan Martin of Rutherfordton, his wife of 44 years, Anita Padgett Martin of the home, his son, Steven Martin and wife Kelly of Green Creek, NC, his daughter, Jennifer Martin Silvers and husband Justin of Forest City, his brother, Elvis Martin and wife Susan of Rutherfordton, and his sisters, Sheila Owensby and husband Thurman of Forest City, Lori Moore and husband Dean of Rutherfordton, and Angie Morgan and her life partner, Deborah Price of Camden, SC. There are also. two grandchildren.

A graveside service was held in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
