Robert Jones "Bobby" Williams, age 89 of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

Bobby was born July 1, 1931 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Paul Jones Williams and Lucy Freeman Williams.

Bobby honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Bobby was also preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Lancaster Williams, his daughter, Jean Marlowe, brother, J. B. Williams, and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Williams of the home, a daughter, Suzy Williams Allen and husband Danny of Rutherfordton, a sister, Ann Williams Tate of Morganton as well as a number of grandchildren.

A private funeral service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ellenboro.
