Robert Lewis Morrow, age 77, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012.
Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
Robert was born on December 18, 1934 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Commodore Dewey Morrow and Sarah Odester Manning Morrow. He worked for Milliken Mills for over 43 years before his retirement and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Scott Morrow and Robert Lewis Morrow, Jr.; one brother, Earl Morrow and a great-grandson, Elijah Garcia.
Survivors include four daughters, Sarah Morrow of Forest City, Robin Wilson and husband, James of Rutherfordton, Rhonda Morrow of Rutherfordton and Meda Morrow of Forest City; one sister, Mary Taylor of Spindale. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to Long Branch Road Baptist Church Building Fund, 621 Long Branch Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
