Robert Maxton “Max” Hamrick, 61, of Ellenboro, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012.

    A native of Rutherford County, he was born on August 13, 1950, the son of the late Robert “ Bob” and Madeline Wilson Hamrick. He graduated from East Rutherford High School in 1969 and was retired from Cone Mills Corporation - Haynes Plant and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.     He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Melton Hamrick; one step-son, David Hardin of Ellenboro; one grandchild, Dawson Hardin.
