The ROC Broad River Fall Sweep will be held on Saturday, September 16th and will begin at 10 am. We will be cleaning the following sections of the Broad River in Rutherford County:

Section 2 (Rock Springs Church Road to Clark Road)

Section 3 (Clark Road to River Road)

Section 4 (River Road to Grays Road)

Section 5 (Grays Road to Coxe Road).

** Each group of volunteers will clean 1 section of the river. We still need more volunteers to help on Sections 4 and 5.

Trash bags and gloves will be provided. There are a few pair of grabbers available, but people are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.

We need people with canoes as well as kayaks to join us. We may have a few extra kayaks or canoes if people want to help and do not have a boat of their own.

These clean-ups are a great way to meet others from the community that share a love of the river. We always have a good time and feel good knowing that we have helped keep the river looking beautiful for everyone.
