ROC volunteers that cleaned the Broad River during the Spring Sweep.

Saturday, June 15, Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) held our annual Broad River Spring Sweep. We had a great turnout and volunteers removed a plastic pallet, broken chairs, tires, cans, glass bottles, a lot of agricultural plastic, and other objects from the Broad River in Rutherford County. We also cut a path through a large tree that had fallen and blocked the river.

The river looks great thanks to the efforts of our volunteers. We appreciate all of their hard work to keep the river clean and beautiful.
