On Saturday, October 27, members of Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) and volunteers from the community came together to walk some of the shelter dogs from the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Rutherfordton. ROC leads these group walks each month.

These walks are a great opportunity to come out and enjoy a walk on one of the beautiful trails in Rutherford County, get some exercise, and give exposure to some of the shelter dogs that need a home. On Saturday, we enjoyed a 2-mile walk on a newly paved portion of the Rail Trail. Everyone always has a great time and enjoys spending time with these sweet dogs. The dogs in the pictures are all available for adoption from the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Rutherford County.
