Roger Norris Ledford, age 60, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012.

    A memorial service was conducted.    

    Roger was born November 11, 1951 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Clyde Ledford and Catherine Lawson Ledford Moore. 

    He was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy Ledford and sister in-law, Helen Ledford.

    Survivors include three children, Roger Ledford and wife, Kim, Casey Ledford and Daniel “Cody” Ledford; step-mother, Francis Ledford; four brothers, Paul Ledford and wife, Geri, Jimmie Ledford, Johnny Moore and wife, Anne, and Robert Moore.

    He is also survived by four grandchildren;    two uncles; Robert Lawson and R.B. Lawson; nieces and nephews; a friend and caregiver, Kathie Gibson.
