Rommie Gettys, age 88, of Sunshine, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025.
Rommie was born August 26, 1936, in Rutherford County, to the late Lee Osborne Gettys and Fannie Luckadoo Gettys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Gettys, A.L. Gettys, and Johnny Gettys; and sisters, Erie Gettys, Mattie Toney, and Etta Thomas.
He is survived by his brother, Claude Gettys and wife Faye, of Sunshine, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be private for the family.
