Ronald Kevin Ledford, 52, of Union Mills, passed awy on Thursday, October 11, 2012. 

A native of New York, he was born on October 20, 1959, a son of Robert Donald and Nancy Hyder Ledford of Union Mills. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Travis Kevin Ledford; one brother, Robert Keith Ledford of Rutherfordton; one sister, Robin Karen Laughter and husband Jerry of Spindale.

 A memorial service was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, with the Rev. Ray Hooper and Rev. Don Hollifield officiating.
