Ronald Lee Brooks, 66, of Gaffney, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
A native of Lawton, Michigan, he was born on December 15, 1945, a son of the late Audrey Mae Austin. He was a construction worker and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Calloway Brooks; one stepson, Billy Hollifield and wife Sharon of Kings Mountain; one stepdaughter, Leisa Hollifield Mathis and husband Robert of Swannanoa; his grandchildren, Tiffney Bell, Nikki Bell, Wesley Sanders, Michael Blanton, Lacey Mathis and Daniel Mathis; one great-granddaughter, Hailee Arrowood.
At the request of the family, no formal services will be held.
McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home is serving the Brooks family.
