Ronald Robert Thompson, 69

Ronald Robert Thompson, 69, of Mooresboro went home to be with the Lord January 30, 2017.

Born in Forest City, he was the husband of June Godfrey Thompson & son of the late Webster Thompson & Rene Bradley Thompson. He retired from construction & was a member of Goode's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Robin Clark & husband, Steve, of Easley & Shelley Butler & husband, Ronald Whitener, of Forest City; 2 sons, Shane Thompson & wife, Michelle, of Woodruff & Chad Thompson & wife, Donna, of Greer, 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Skinner.

Graveside services were held at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro with Rev. Larry Helms & Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
