Ruby Clark Fortner, 76 passed away May 2, 2022. She was born in Leicester, NC August 29, 1945.

Ruby was the daughter of Weaver Clark and Pearl (Freeman) Clark. She is preceded in death by brothers James, Herschel and Raymond and grandson Christopher Reel.

Ruby was a skilled custom seamstress. She is survived by husband Earl Fortner, daughters Linda Fortner, Joann Fortner and son Earl Fortner Jr., (Tracy), sister Debbie Clay, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A celebration of life was held May 7, 2022 at Crowe's Park, Forest City.
