Ruby Elizabeth Walker Padgett, age 84, of Rutherfordton passed away Thursday at Hospice House.
Services were held at First Baptist Church, Spindale.
Ruby was a native of Rutherford County, widow of the late Joseph Paul Padgett, daughter of the late Rastus and Bessie Melton Walker and sister of the late Thomas Clyde Walker.
Left to cherish her memory are a son Larry Padgett and wife Elizabeth Ann of Ellenboro, daughter Sandy Padgett of Rutherfordton, daughter Cathy Gadoury and husband Dean of Wake Forest, granddaughter Laura Padgett of Boston, grandson Zachary Gadoury of Wake Forest, brother Bud Walker of Orange, Tx., sister Florence Walker Goode of Rutherfordton, niece Madge Guffey Hyatt of Rutherfordton.
