Ruby Owens Evans, age 93 of Forest City passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.

A native of Ellenboro, she was the daughter of Dovia Burns Owens and Pinkney Onzo Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Ruby married Doyle Harrison Evans in 1952. They were married 47 years until his death in 2000.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carol Ennis and son-in-law, Mike of Forest City, and son, Michael Evans and daughter-in-law, Yoshiko of Fresno, California, three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was in The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
