Ruby Weaver Hamrick, 88

Ruby Weaver Hamrick, 88, a resident of Stanley Total Life Care Center, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. A native of Cleveland County, she was born on September 01, 1925, a daughter of the late Reggie and Margie Webb Weaver. She retired from J.P. Stevens Company and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Hamrick; three brothers, Loren, Willie and J.E. Weaver; one sister, Maria Weaver. 

She is survived by five sons, J.T. Hamrick and wife Pat of Gastonia, S. Wesley Hamrick and wife Apryl of Forest City, Larry E. Hamrick and wife Catherine of Greer, SC, Fred R. Hamrick and wife Susan of Dallas, and Tim G. Hamrick of Love Valley; her sisters, Mildred Wilson, Bernice Navey, Mary Parker, Ruth Theis, and Carol Sepaugh; one brother, Pete Weaver; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro with the Rev. Michael Sepaugh officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.
