PrintRuth Ann Guy, age 86 of Gaffney died Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
Ann was born May 7, 1937, in East Bend, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Travis York and Bernice Martin Hyatt.
Ann was a Registered Nurse and a graduate of Memorial Mission of Western North Carolina School of Nursing. After having spent forty years working in the medical field, she retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Hope Church in Spartanburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Guy in 1998 and her great-grandson, Justice Jackson.
Survivors include her son, Kevin B. Guy, Sr. and wife Sharon of Gaffney, her daughter, Carmen Guy Stepp and husband Mike of Gaffney, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held July 3 at Hope Church in Spartanburg with Rev. Don Horton officiating.
