Ruth Lowery Bailey, 90, of Forest City, NC passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Services were held at First Baptist Church of Bostic, NC. Burial was held in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Bailey and her parents, Samuel and Cora Lee Wilkerson Lowery.
She is survived by one son, James Daniel Bailey of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Beth Smart Fisher and husband John of Tryon; two sisters, Bertie Spratt of Ellenboro and Doris Henson of Forest City; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
