Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Ruth R. Price of Mill Spring, NC, went home to glory February 20, 2026, at age 92.

Ruth dedicated her life to her family and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had previously been a member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church over 60 years. She worked as a teacher's assistant for many years at Mill Spring Elementary School.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Hicks Fletcher and Besse Elizabeth Price; her husband, George Franklin Price; and her siblings, Sarah and Jesse Price.

Ruth is survived by her brothers, Frank and Marvin Price; her son, Jeff and Terri Price, of Seneca, SC; two grandchildren, Jennifer Houti of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Christopher and Amanda Price of Mill Spring; and eight great-grandchildren.

A service of worship will be held at Faith Baptist Church, Mill Spring, Saturday, February 28 at 2pm, with a private service for the disposition of ashes to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Faith Baptist Church.
