Ruth Reese Johnson

Born Ruth Reese in 1929 and married her beloved David L. Johnson in 1947. She was a wonderful 94 years young residing in Palm Harbor, Florida and formerly from Caroleen, NC. She was called to heaven October 10, 2023.

A native from Delavan NY, she was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Irene Reese. She dedicated her life as a school librarian in both Florida and North Carolina.

She was survived by two daughters Vicky Taaffe of Phoenix AZ and Debra Johnson of Palm Harbor FL. Additionally, she was survived by four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

A visitation was held October 21, 2023 at Harrelson Funeral Home. Graveside services followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Miles Ensley officiatimg.
