While the Earl Scruggs Music Festival was a hit in Polk County, the annual Loretta Lynn Gospel Festival was going on at Lynn's Ranch near Nashville, Tennessee. Jerry Wease of Rutherford County caught up with Loretta Lynn's daughter, Patsy Lynn, at the festival. Patsy Lynn is named after Loretta Lynn's friend, Patsy Cline.
