Rutherford Outdoor Coalition is hosting a photo contest through the end of the month! February's theme is sunrises and sunsets. Send us some of your best shots and be featured on our page! If you are an ROC member, you will be entered in a drawing to win a $40 gift card to La Strada in Lake Lure. Our photo contests are a fun way for us to stay connected with members of the community. You can still have your shots featured even if you aren't a member - we love sharing your submissions!

Submit your photos on Facebook using the hashtag "#rutherfordoutdoor". Don't have a Facebook? No problem! You can submit your photos to trails@rutherfordoutdoor.org. Interested in becoming a member to be entered in the drawing? We offer annual membership rates of $20 for individuals and $35 for families. Membership with ROC has many benefits - access to private recreational areas, discounts at several local merchants, guided outdoor excursions, and more! Membership is a great way to help support our mission! Membership dues are used for a number of projects such as trail maintenance, trail signage, and local outdoor activity awareness.
