Sammy Lynn Blalock Jr, a native of Buncombe County and a proud member of the Woodfin Knights, and most recently of Rutherford County, NC, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023.

A memorial service was held September 19 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Cody Bullman officiating.

At the age of 59, Sammy was predeceased by his parents Sam Lynn Blalock Sr, and Jeannie Louise Rathburn Blalock.

Sammy is survived by his children, Joseph Blalock, Jordan Briggs, Shelby Fagan, and Avery Edwards and six grandchildren.

He was a cherished brother, survived by his sister Sharon Reynolds and brother Stephen Blalock.

In his professional life, Sammy made his mark as a dedicated car salesman.
