Sandra Moore Lancaster, age 72 of Forest City died January 14, 2022.

Sandra was born March 10, 1949, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Rev. Clarence Moore and Clara Lowman Moore. She was a homemaker, a lifelong Baptist, and a graduate of East Rutherford High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Moore.

Survivors include her husband, Winfred Lancaster of the home, a son, Anthony Lancaster and wife Starr of Inman, SC, her sisters, Merita Alley and husband Jimmy of Forest City and Linda Gibson of Ellenboro, three grandchildren, and a number of special nieces and nephews.

A private family funeral service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Dan Derbin officiating.
