PrintSarah Daphine Jones Greene passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
Our loving mother went to be with her Lord and her loved ones that were waiting for her with open arms. Daphine was born July 19, 1936 to the late Theron Jones and Viola Harris Jones.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Weldon Greene, one brother Dan Jones and a sister Rachel Crawley.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters Amanda Greene Bostic and husband Jerry, Patty Greene Garner and husband David. 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren will also miss her.
Services were held at Prospect Baptist Church with burial following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church 2610 Prospect Church Rd., Mooresboro, NC 28114, Cliffside Baptist Church 220 Old Main St., PO Box 336 Cliffside, NC 28024 and Hospice of The Carolina Foothills PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
