Last week, Forest City opened up the second half of their Coastal Plain League season. If they have a chance to make the CPL postseason, this is the time to make something happen. So far, they are 1-1 on the season and they were up by five runs on Martinsville Sunday when rain suspended play. The Owls also posted their biggest win of the season on July third, a 15-4 win over the Hi-Toms. Forest City will host Florence on July 10 and go to Gastonia on July 11.
