Shirley Kelly Anthony, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, January 2, 2026.

She was born in Rutherford County to the late Clifford Kelly and Nicie Hawkins Kelly. She is also predeceased by her spouses, Bill Anthony, Jose Rodrigurez and Ben Eugene Sentell; son, Clifford "Pete" Arnold Sentell; brother, J. Hugh Kelly; sister, Charlene Hughey.

Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Benita Sentell Duffie (Chuck); grandson, Ben Edwin Duffie (Mackinze); niece, Tonya Hughey McCullough and Renita Gray; nephews, Robert Hughey, James Hughey and Hugh Kelly.

She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1955. She also graduated from Limestone College in 1984 with a Business Administration Management Degree. She worked at Eckerds Snack Shop and she retired from Cleveland Community College where she worked as a Secretary, in the Book Store, the Library and as an Instructor.

Funeral Services were held January 7 at Crestview Baptist Church, Shelby, NC.
