Rutherfordton's adults-only soapbox derby, which is the only one of its kind in the region, will be held Friday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. during FUNC (Fridays Unplugged on Central). Those who wish to take part are invited to use their imaginations while staying within construction guidelines.
