Sonya Glenn Lovelace, age 53, of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Sonya was born May 7, 1972, in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Glenn Thompson and Jenelle Poteat Thompson. Sonya was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to being a mama and Nana. Sonya was a published poet and was an advocate for finding missing people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Johnson, and a sister Carmen Espey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 28 years, Edward H Lovelace Jr; children, Melinda Putman, Justin Putman, Kimberley Putman, Brittany Lovelace; and twelve grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-7pm Saturday, March 14 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
