Stanley "Bub" Davis, age 73, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023.

Stanley was born December 27, 1949 in Rutherford County to Margie Elliott Davis who resides in Ellenboro and the late James R. Davis. He was a graduate of R-S Central High School. Stanley honorably served his country in the US Navy. He worked as a carpenter in the housing industry for most of his life.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a brother, James V. Davis (Glenda) of Ellenboro; two nieces, one great niece, three great nephews, two great-great nieces.

The memorial service was held May 20 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
