Statia Giles Thompson Eplee age 89 passed away Tuesday December 13, 2011.
Funeral services were held at Sunset Memorial Park.
Statia was preceded in death by her parents James Henry Giles and Lillie May Wilson Giles, her first husband Worth Thompson, her second husband Ulyless Eplee, one son Foy Thompson, one grandson Chris Thompson and her siblings Robert, Joseph, Jackie and Gladys.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons; Larry Thompson & wife Geraldine of Millers Creek, NC; Spencer Thompson & wife Dianne of Hickory, NC; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one sister Margaret Hill & husband Charles of Columbia, SC; three brothers – Frank Giles & wife Martha of High Point, NC; Bill Giles and wife Linda of Raleigh, NC; Lamar Giles and wife Colette of Paris, France; two sisters-in-law Alice Giles of Raleigh, NC and Alice Giles of Cockeysville, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church 805 Oakland Road Spindale, NC 28160 or to the charity of your choice.
Crowe Mortuary is serving the family.
