Stella Jones Wright, 103, of Ellenboro passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012.
A native of Cleveland County, she was born June 18, 1908, a daughter of the late Foster and Mae Poston Jones and stepdaughter of the late Ada Greene Jones.
Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Wright, three sisters, Tillie Price, Nellie Loy, Dot Elliott and one brother, J.Y. Jones; and one great grandson, Scout Warrick. She is survived by two sons, Dan Wright and wife Reisa of Ellenboro, Richard Wright and wife Doby of Mooresboro; two sisters, Mable Elliott of Shelby, and Margaret Blanton and husband Claude of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Lisa Randall and husband Mark, Terry Wright and wife Jennifer, Shane Wright, Stephanie Young and husband Alex, Tara Warrick and husband Trey; and six great grandchildren, Huston Wright, Kentley Wright, Jessica Jolley, Maguire Wright, Dylan Wright and Foster Warrick.
